Advanced Manufacturing (ATDC)
The Advanced Technology Development Center is where the hardest program requirements get solved. Materials science, process engineering, tooling design, and prototyping in one accountable team, from problem statement to production-ready part.
Injection Molding
Seven Grand Rapids facilities with 115+ machines from 250 to 4,400 tons. Class-A moldings and 2-shot capability for complex, high-volume parts.
Advanced Composites
CFRP parts built for production volume. The Lacks Carbon Fiber™ division is the only US-based OEM supplier of composite wheels, with 12,000+ annual capacity. Resin formulation through final testing stays on one Grand Rapids campus.
Electroplating
Four Grand Rapids facilities running trivalent and hexavalent chrome lines. Every part gets digital traceability from rack to ship, backed by on-site water and waste treatment.
