Magnaflux Heavy Duty Lead Contact Plate

The Magnaflux Contact Plates are installed on every magnetic particle bench unit sold. The purpose of a contact plate is to give good contact to the part and protect the surface of the head and tail stock. These plates need to be replaced when you start seeing holes and excessive wear marks on the surface. Note: Worn surfaces can lead to poor part contact, which could result in damage to the part. The Magnaflux Heavy Duty Lead/Copper Plate contains braided copper impregnated with lead. It is more durable than solid lead plates. This plate is recommended for higher current, high production applications and fits all units except A-915 and H series units. Size: 6-3/4″ (171.45mm) x 6-5/8″ (168.275mm) x 1/4″ (6.35mm) thick.
